PLAYER'S CHOICE ++
The best army, as selected by
you, the players. To impress 200 of your peers is a mighty
achievement, and we consider this award to be the overall
"Best Painted". These awards are co-sponsored by
Purple Mantis hobby supplies.
Note: Any "Player's Choice" army enters the Arc 40K Hall of
Fame. The same army cannot win this award twice.

40K, as selected by War All the Time. We consider this
award to be the overall "Best Army".

SPORTSMANSHIP ++
Best Sportsman (Trophy &
$50 GW Voucher)
- The player with the most Sports points. Any ties will be
decided by the number of Star votes each player receives.
Note: All "Best Sports" enter the Arc 40K Sports Hall of
Fame. You cannot win this twice.

GENERALSHIP ++
Best General (Trophy &
$50 GW Voucher)
- The player with the most Battle points.
Note: We will deduct points
lost for "Overpowered" player vote when counting
this award.
Worst General (Certificate & Dice by NASM) - The
player with the least Battle points!

BEST ARMIES ++
We award ten Best
Army prizes. Each army
type has its own unique modelling, selection and painting
challenges, so we reward individual effort. The
winners will be those with the highest combined score of
Selection and Painting. In the case of a tie, the highest
Painting score will win. If further tied, the organisers
will decide.
Note: Any army which
has previously been judged Best Army but has not
substantially changed in its content will not qualify for
this award.

awards which recognise outstanding effort in painting and
theme. Our judges award these for aspects of your
presentation which catch their eye.

Note: We will not select
Funkies from any army which has won Player's Choice, WATT's,
and Best Armies. In each case, those entire armies are
clearly beyond par. The Funkies are for individual details
which catch our eye. You cannot win more than one Funky, and
any piece which has been deemed Funky in a previous year
cannot win again.

THE REALM OF LEGENDS "EVERY TENTH PLAYER" PRIZE ++
Every Tenth Player (Prize
only) - Every tenth player at Arc 40K wins a prize - so, if
you come 120th, 110th, 70th, 40th, 20th or wherever, you'll
go home a winner.

CNC WORKSHOP CLUB CHALLENGE ++
Best Club (Trophy &
CNC Prize) -
CNC Workshop will be supplying a
great terrain prize to the best club at Arcanacon.
To find the best club,
we will take the average score of the three highest-ranked
members from each club. The club that scores the highest average
will be judged Best Club at Arcanacon! To be eligible, your club
must be a public body that meets in a specified location on a
regular basis and welcomes new members, and at least three
members must enter. Ringwood and GROTS are examples of clubs.
Let us know which (if any) club you
are representing.
Clubs can also earn up to a maximum of 10
bonus points, these are added to
the average score:
+1 for each table of terrain the club provides for the event
+1 for each club member who helps with set up on Friday
Interstate and country clubs will earn double points for any
members who are do not live in Melbourne and either attend the
set up session, or provide terrain.

BEST TERRAIN ++
Best Terrain (Trophy &
Imperial Bastion kit) -
Awarded to the player or club who supplies the best table of terrain,
as voted by the players.
Note: Any "Best Terrain" table
enters the Arc 40K Hall of Fame. The same table cannot win
this award twice.

RANDOM TABLE ++
Random Table (CNC prize)
- One table number will be drawn at random, and the player
or club who provided the terrain will win a prize - not to
mention our thanks!

HELPFUL MOFO ++
Helpful Mofo (Prize) - Arcanacon is a volunteer effort, and we particularly
appreciate players who help us out with the event. If we
ever see you pitching in to help carry a table or otherwise
make yourself useful, we'll give you a Helpful Mofo raffle
ticket.

FIVE YEAR TOUR ++
Five Year Tour (Certificate) -
Awarded to any player who competes in five Arcanacons. If
you are among those inducted in 2010, we salute you!

- So, after all that, you didn't win anything? Nothing at
all? Good news, everyone who fills out a survey goes into
the Consolation Prize draw. We have copies of
Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising to give away (the games will be
shipped to you on release date, in March), as well as a copy of
Darksiders for X360/PS3.
